Policy & Markets: Cooperative Enterprises Edition A Policy and Regulatory Townhall

Policy & Markets is a Credence Africa sector dialogue platform created to help industries examine the policy, regulatory, market conduct and market practice issues shaping their operating environment.

This includes the laws, regulations, regulators, institutions, incentives, supervision models, dispute systems, governance standards, financing practices, trade structures, digital infrastructure and public policy decisions that affect how a sector grows, competes, protects stakeholders and responds to emerging risks.

Policy & Markets townhalls and roundtables are designed for sectors facing policy uncertainty, regulatory change, market disruption, governance pressure or emerging risks that require structured dialogue between industry, regulators, policy makers, professional advisors, financiers, development actors and market participants.

The June Policy & Markets convening focuses on cooperative enterprises ahead of International Cooperative Day.

It will examine the policy, regulatory, governance and market practice issues shaping cooperative enterprises in Kenya, with reference to regional and global cooperative developments.
